SteriPEN Portable Water Purifier, Purification System – FINAL RESULTS

My email to SteriPEN:

Hi Aaron,

I have some additional information on the replacement SteriPEN you sent me. I used it twice during a 26 hour car-car alpine climb of the Diamond on Longs Peak in Rocky Mountain last weekend and it performed very well. I used one of those little keychain thermometers to assess that the air temperature (and therefore, that of the SteriPEN in my backpacks top pocket) was approximately 33-34 degrees. I don’t know what the temperature of the water from Chasm Lake was, but at 1 am and at 11,760 ft. I’m sure it was pretty cold. The SteriPEN flawlessly completed three consecutive 1 liter doses, these all with the same batteries that I had used the week before and during my previous refrigerator tests at home.

I couldn’t be more satisfied.

I will be returning the original unit vis the UPS tag you sent me in the next day or two.

Thanks again for all your help.

Mike
